Insert symptom, disease or diagnosis here. Acupuncture is designed to treat you as an individual. Diseases have names that describe a plethora of symptoms, but you as person with a diagnosis may have the same symptoms plus a few different symptoms as someone else who was also diagnosed with the same named disease. That is where Acupuncture can improve how you manage your disease. Hi, I'm Doctor Amanda and I work in West Virginia just off of I-64 in-between Teays Valley and Hurricane. Acupuncture treats you as an individual not just the disease. This means no matter what you are experiencing or what you're suffering from, acupuncture is a viable treatment for you, not just an alternative to what you are doing now or your last option. I have helped people with conditions such as headaches, migraines, earaches, eye twitching, back aches, knee pain, joint pain, neuropathy, digestive issues, fatigue, insomnia, constipation, diarrhea, cancer, nausea, menstrual problems, peri-menopause, menopause, pregnancy, anxiety, depression just to name a few. If you are wondering if Acupuncture can help you, the answer is yes. Acupuncture will very likely reduce suffering and change the way you feel, your symptoms and help normal day functions happen better than they have before.

There is something you should know about me. When I was about 22 and in school for massage therapy, I was also working full time as a dental lab technician plus whitewater rafting guide on the weekends. I was going and going all the time. So when my monthly cycle started I was in severe pain. I thought that was normal for me since it began at the age of 13 and I was always taking something to ease the pain. So when I was in class and wincing because I sometimes can't control what my face does, lol. My shiatsu instructor who is an acupuncturist, noticed and invited me to try acupuncture. I scheduled the first available appointment and picked his brain. I wanted to know what all acupuncture could do. I went back for several more treatments and things got so much better. I knew then my path would eventually lead me towards becoming an Acupuncturist, for the reason that I belived in the benefits of the treatments. I am a walking, talking example of the many different ways Acupuncture can change your life.
